Plainville, CT – January 30, 2020 – As commercial construction moves into a new decade, market demand for quality, innovation, and speed are driving the industry with a forecasted upsurge in building projects. NDC Corp., a general contracting and construction management company formerly known as Network Design and Construction, is poised for growth with newly expanded leadership and key strategic relationships.
Effective immediately, Jacqueline Laramee, NDC Vice President, has become a principal in the privately-held company. Laramee is working hand-in-hand with the company’s founder and President, Melissa Sheffy, to position NDC as an industry leader by integrating modern construction technologies and methods.
NDC was established in 2016 as an outgrowth of Network Interiors, a commercial carpentry company specializing in steel construction founded by Sheffy in 1991. The strategic affiliation between the two companies expanded in 2018 with the launch of Network Framing Solutions, a new manufacturer of prefabricated steel components and assemblies. Each company operates as an independent business while providing a shared depth of expertise that expands the capacity of each individual entity.

Laramee, 31, began her construction career at Network Interiors in 2008 as a carpenter. She quickly rose through the ranks from Estimator to Project Engineer to Operations Manager while concurrently earning her Bachelor of Science in Construction Management degree at Central Connecticut State University.
After guiding NDC’s expansion into Massachusetts, Vermont, and Rhode Island in 2019, Laramee led the company’s rebranding effort. The new identity distinguishes NDC from its strategic affiliates while building on its solid reputation and core values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, quality and caring.
