NDC Commercial Construction Owner Selected for Hartford Business Journal’s 2021 “40 Under Forty” Recognition
Jacqueline Laramee among the 25th anniversary class of accomplished professionals leading Connecticut companies
Plainville, CT – August 24, 2021 – Network Design & Construction (NDC) owner Jacqueline Laramee has been named to the HBJ “40 Under Forty” award. This distinct honor recognizes young professionals in the Greater Hartford area excelling through leadership and accomplishment in their industries.
At 32, Ms. Laramee is one of the youngest members of the elite 25th anniversary class of 2021. This year, HBJ received 163 nominations for the award. The winners were announced on August 23rd and will be recognized in an anniversary celebration on September 16th.
Ms. Laramee is Vice President and majority owner of NDC, a position she achieved through hard work and determination. Ms. Laramee began her construction career as a carpenter with Network Interiors and rose through the ranks with roles as foreman, estimator, and project manager while simultaneously attending classes at CCSU where she earned a B.S. degree in Construction Management.
Under her leadership, Ms. Laramee has guided NDC to embrace advanced, sustainable construction methods and establish the company as a leading regional construction manager and general contracting firm. Earlier this year, NDC won first place in the Connecticut Building Congress (CBC) 2021 Project Team Award for the Fair Haven Community Health Clinic renovation.
A natural leader with passion and energy, Ms. Laramee is dedicated to advancing the construction industry and serves as a role model for women and young people. She is President of the Southington-Cheshire YMCA, Board Chair of the Construction Education Center, and a member of several organizations, including the CT Electrical Board, the Main Street Community Foundation Grant Review Committee, and the Associated Builders and Contractors Emerging Leaders.
