A Profile in Leadership – Jackie Laramee, Vice President
Jackie began her career in construction as a carpenter in 2008 while attending Central Connecticut State University as an undergraduate student. She rose through the ranks from Estimator to Project Manager to Operations Manager to her current position as NDC Vice President. Her guidance was instrumental in NDC’s expansion to Vermont, Rhode Island, New York, and Massachusetts.
Jackie’s commitment to the industry extends beyond our company. She is Vice-Chair for the Construction Education Center, an organization that provides apprenticeship training, professional development, and continuing education, and she serves as the chair for the Connecticut Associated Builders and Contractors PLA Task Force.
Significant achievements that Jackie has received over the course of her career include the 2019 Outstanding Alumnus Award from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), the Connecticut Associated Builders and Contractors 2013 Excellence in Construction Award, and the 2014 Professional Women in Construction Rising Star Award.
Outside of the construction industry, Jackie believes in giving back to her community. In October 2019, she was recognized as a Leading Ladies honoree as a community service leader and role model. She serves as Vice President of the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCA Board and as a member of the Grant Distribution Committee Charter of the Main Street Community Foundation.
Everyone at NDC is proud of Jackie’s leadership, accomplishments, and dedication!
