Jackie Laramee brings hands-on construction experience and strategic leadership to her role as President & Owner of NDC. Beginning her career as a carpenter, she advanced through estimating, project management, and operations—experience that grounds her practical, people-first approach. Jackie oversees core business functions including hiring, performance management, financial decision-making, risk management, multi-state licensing, and internal systems, while also supporting marketing and business development. She is Past Chair of the Construction Education Center, is a CBIA Board Member, and contributes to the Connecticut Electrical Examining Board as a Public Member and to industry task forces. Jackie has earned multiple honors and is deeply committed to workforce development and community service.

Melissa Sheffy serves as CEO of NDC, providing leadership focused on performance, innovation, and long-term growth. A passionate advocate for the skilled trades, Melissa supports workforce development through apprenticeship training and education initiatives. Her involvement includes the Construction Education Center (past chair), Southington High School Construction and Manufacturing Advisory Board, and CCSU Industry Advisory Board. At the state level, she serves as a Public Member of the Connecticut Plumbing and Pipework Examining Board and remains active in local community leadership roles.

Richard Murphy supports NDC’s growth by leading pursuits and preconstruction efforts from early opportunity through project award. He guides RFQs and RFPs, ensuring submissions are strategic, compliant, and client-focused, and provides leadership across estimating, scheduling, logistics, procurement, and contract development. With decades of experience managing complex projects in both urban and greenfield settings, Rich brings deep expertise across public and private sectors, including education, healthcare, commercial, assisted living, and historic restoration. Experienced in multiple delivery methods, he is known for clarity, accountability, and mentoring teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Nathan (Nate) Bernier is Director of Operations at NDC, leading the Specialty Projects division with responsibility for preconstruction oversight and active project performance. With more than 25 years of industry experience—primarily in estimating—Nate focuses on aligning projects with client goals, budgets, and schedules from the earliest stages. He has worked across diverse markets, project sizes, and delivery systems including Preconstruction Services, Lump Sum, CM at Risk, and Design/Build. Nate values structured, transparent communication and collaborative decision-making, delivering accurate information clients rely on to make informed business decisions.

Colleen Crowley leads branding, marketing, and content strategy at NDC, managing end-to-end marketing efforts that support business development and strategic growth. Her role includes brand development, creative direction, social media, website management, proposal and RFP coordination, and content creation. Partnering closely with leadership and project teams, she translates NDC’s expertise, culture, and values into clear, differentiated messaging. With a background in brand strategy and creative leadership, Colleen has developed award-winning campaigns and received multiple American Advertising Federation Awards. She values authenticity, collaboration, and purposeful marketing that strengthens relationships and long-term market position.

Jason Perrone is Director of Strategy and Marketing at NDC, where his work is closely aligned with business development, client engagement, and strategic growth. He focuses on strengthening relationships, identifying opportunities, and positioning NDC for long-term success in competitive markets. With a background spanning commercial real estate, construction, and business development, Jason brings a relationship-driven, forward-thinking perspective to his role. He works closely with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and industry partners to support pursuit strategy, outreach, and market positioning, helping teams align value, strategy, and client needs.

Diane Kozel is a business development professional with experience spanning design, marketing, and construction. She builds client relationships, supports pursuit strategies, and helps secure opportunities through a collaborative, strategic approach. Diane transitioned into construction through marketing with a CM/GC and later served as Director of Marketing for a multi-office architectural firm, strengthening brand presence and client engagement. She holds the CPSM designation and has served on the SMPS Board of Directors. Diane is inspired by collaboration, relationship-building, and helping teams and clients achieve successful, well-aligned outcomes.

John Turmelle serves as Preconstruction Director at NDC, leading estimating and bid management with nearly four decades of experience across architecture and construction. His dual background strengthens constructability reviews, QA/QC, and early risk identification while supporting projects delivered through lump sum, cost-plus, GMP, Wicks Law, and design-build methods. John tailors each approach to client goals, leveraging tools such as early buy, design-assist, and strategic trade bidding. Collaborative by nature, he is energized by early project development and focused on assembling the right teams and solutions to set projects up for success before construction begins.

Tony Cascone serves as Director of Labor at NDC, overseeing daily operations across multiple projects and supporting Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents. He regularly visits job sites to review drawings, schedules, submittals, and RFIs, helping ensure alignment and project success. Tony actively participates in trade partner and owner meetings, both in person and virtually, and works to build and maintain strong relationships across all project stakeholders. He also contributes to preconstruction efforts through pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs, while maintaining consistent communication with executive leadership and serving as a reliable resource to project teams.
